This token then controls your access to the site for that session, and is deleted once you close your browser or log off from the site. These cookies are 'Strictly Necessary' and an essential part of the site system, and you may not be able to fully use our site if you have disabled cookies in your browser.
Persistent cookies for site and user management: if you register or join as a member on our site and select the "Remember me" option, a persistent 'Preferences' cookie is passed to your computer. This cookie is not deleted when you leave the site or close your browser, but is saved on your computer. This cookie contains an encrypted user id code that identifies your browser upon future visits and automatically logs you into the site. This cookie's data is totally anonymised and does not contain any personal information that could be used to identify you. If you reject preference cookies or disable cookies in your browser you will not be able to save your login preferences and will need to log in each time you wish to access the private areas of the site.
Tracking cookies
We use Matomo analytics to monitor traffic on our site. Matomo is set for cookie-less tracking, and does not set cookies when you visit our site. Matomo will continue to record statistical information about your visit to the site for your user session, but will not link sessions - each visit will be tracked for that session only.
We may sometimes use Google, Bing (Microsoft), and LinkedIn paid search advertising to promote our website. We use Matomo analytics to track ad interactions and conversions, and anonymous conversion data is transmitted to the advertising platform. Conversion tracking doesn not transmit any data that could be used to personally identify you.
Opting out
WE DO NOT CURRENTLY SET TRACKING COOKIES. ANY COOKIES SET BY OUR SITE ARE ESSENTIAL AND REQUIRED FOR THE OPERATION OF THE SITE. If we enable any advertising or tracking service in the future you will be able to accept or reject any non-essential cookies. Thereafter you will be able to view the details of all the cookies our site is setting; these will be able to be viewed from the cookie settings option when you first visit our site when cookies are enabled. You can choose to accept or reject non-essential cookies at any time by clicking the Cookies icon at the bottom of every page on our site if cookies are enabled.
